Good value room with excellent views over the river. I was lucky to get a corner room rather than an internal one with no windows or view. Good location, easy to walk everywhere in Vang Vieng because it's so small. Included breakfast which was of a good standard.
Wifi was available but not in the rooms. Had one of those showers where the entire bathroom gets wet when you use it. There were ants but they didn't cause me any problems.

It's a little overpriced seeing as there isn't even a tv in the room but the beds are amazing when you're feeling rough!
Booked a trip to go Booked.neting and wasn't told it was ok to bring a camera, but was overall a good stay

The view of the river is great.
The employees were the only rude people I met in all of Laos. Also, the internet didn't work, there was no hot water, and the bathroom smelled awful.

This is by far the best place to stay if you are travelling to Vang Vieng. The Hotel is located on the river, offering excellent views to the river and the mountains. It is centrally located, near the shops and bars, everything is well within walking distance. The places to hire tubes are very close and the taxis leave from next to the hotel. Our group was their for 3 days, and we were all very happy with the rooms, breakfast is also included which did not disappoint either. A very highly recommended place to stay in Vang vieng!

The room is clean. I was given a room with a little balcony overlooking the river. Great location. Nice and generous serve of breakfast and good service.
The wifi didn't work and there's only 1 free computer with a very slow connection. But there's lots of internet cafes around. The price was higher than other similar guesthouses. The doona, although clean, didn't have a cover and there's only 1 bed sheet. Overall, it's still a nice clean guesthouse in a good location.

This is not a Guest House. The room had no window, it smelt terrible like a chemical had been sprayed on the mattress. All our luggage and clothes smelt of it afterwards and we had to have everything laundered. There was a window but we had to keep the curtain drawn all the time because it was facing the corridor and wall. There were cobwebs. There was no surface to put anything on. The sink leaked and we had to put a bucket under it. It was dark It was noisy but to be expected as the town is full of drunken kids. Avoid it like the plague!! I am surprised Booked.net has this on a website. It is a disgrace! We asked for orange juice in the morning and were told they did not have this so we just left without food or drink, glad to get some fresh air!

The staff did really their best for creating a good atmosphere. The breakfast was served in the morning with free coffe and thea. The location of this guesthouse was great. I had booked for just a single room but was given a twinroom which made my visit really comfortable. The price is okay, not really cheap but with breakfast included and good warm shower.

There was a fabulous view from our room with a balcony. The owners were always available and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. If we had the opportunity we would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay and there is nothing that we did not like.

The rooms we got were facing the mountains and river, making it so much better and comfortable. However, if you get the rooms without any view, I think it would be very cramped and stuffy. Cleanliness of the place was not up to standard and was not as expected from me. The location was okay.
Needs to improve on overall cleanliness of the facilities and rooms.

Good location
Much more expensive than other places in Vang Vieng. Though other guesthouses are unlikely to the same views on offer as this place.

This guesthouse has a good location, near the town action, close to river and it was surprisingly quiet in the room facing the river. That's about the only reason to chose this place. Breakfast is just ok but service is fast.
The room on lower floor - river side - have a strong smell of mould, the middle one being the worst. Ask to be relocated if it bothers you. Staff speak no English or French so don't expect too much service.

Popular View was a great find with comfortable rooms overlooking a beautiful mountain landscape. The family running the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious and the portions very generous. Overall a great value for our money. Wish we could have stayed longer!
